What we do in Chingford
Questions people in Chingford ask us
Do you cover all of Chingford?
Yes. North and South Chingford, Chingford Mount, Chingford Hatch and Highams Park are all E4, and all a short drive from our base in Woodford Green. If you are just outside and not sure, ring and ask.
Can you plaster over Artex ceilings in Chingford?
Yes, and it is one of the jobs we do most here. Our Chingford reviews include Artex ceilings covered in two large bedrooms and a hallway, and another ceiling done with the downstairs to follow. Most sound Artex ceilings can be skimmed flat without being taken down.
How soon can you come and quote in Chingford?
Usually within a day or two, because it is so close. One Chingford customer wrote that we fitted them in within a few days of getting in touch and arrived exactly when agreed.
Do I need permission to render a house in Chingford?
Most Chingford work is like for like — a 1930s semi that is already rendered or pebbledashed, being re-rendered — and that does not usually need permission. Covering bare brick for the first time can, because it changes how the house looks, and some streets are covered by an Article 4 direction that removes permitted development rights altogether. Chingford is in the London Borough of Waltham Forest, so that is who to ask before anyone starts.
