What we do in Romford
Questions people in Romford ask us
Do you cover Upminster?
Yes, and it is where a lot of our work on this side has been. We completed a full house project in Upminster in July 2026, and skimmed a main bedroom there in a single day in August 2025. Harold Wood, Gidea Park, Collier Row and Hornchurch are all covered too.
Do you take on full house replastering in Romford?
Yes. Full house projects are a regular part of our work, including one finished in Upminster in July 2026. We plaster single rooms and single ceilings just as happily, and we come and look at every job in person before we price it.
Can you plaster over Artex in Romford?
Yes. In May 2025 a Romford customer needed a last-minute plaster over an Artex ceiling and we fitted them in within a week, and in 2022 we plastered over Artex-textured walls and ceilings in a customer's new house in RM5. Most sound Artex can be skimmed flat without being taken down.
Do I need permission to render a house in Romford?
Repairs and re-rendering an already rendered wall usually do not. Rendering brick for the first time can, and in a conservation area it is not permitted development. If the property is a flat or a maisonette, permitted development does not apply the way it does to a house and the freeholder has to agree as well. Romford, Upminster and Harold Wood are all in the London Borough of Havering.
